America’s Top 10 expected for fifty-eight years for Mr. Manos Hadjidakis
After five decades and eight years Manos Hadjidakis (1925-1994) one of the most world recognizable Greek music composer, skyrocket the top 10 of the American billboard with Alison Kraus with classic song “All Alone Am I” (Manos Hadjidakis/ Arthur Altman- Giannis Ioannidis) in the album “Windy City” compilation.

Jenny Karezi’s compilation
Manos, wrote the song in Crete in 1959 when the young actress Jenny Karezi (photo) sung the song “MIN TON ROTAS TON OURANO” (Don’t ask the sky) for the soundtrack of the movie “The Brave’s island”.
Manos Hadjidakis
The Greek composer from Thrace-Greece also nominated with the Oscar prize of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (1960) with the soundtrack of the movie “Never on Sunday” (Melina Merkouri, Jules Dassin).
The song ALL ALONE AM I has been also successfully performed and popularized for the Americans ears by Brenda Lee (1962).
